About Strokes - You could save a life

STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters... S.T.R.
My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word.
I agree. If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks. Seriously..
Please read:
STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this...
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Thank God for the sense to remember the "3" steps, STR . Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:
S * Ask the individual to SMILE .
T * Ask the person to TALK to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (i.e. . . It is sunny out today).
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .
NOTE : Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke. If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call 000 immediately!! and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher. A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

Fears over long-term effects of Botox

It must be hard work for big screen siren Nicole Kidman, looking this good at 40. Well, maybe not hard work - but work nonetheless.
For years, the once fragile and freckly skinned actress has been the subject of cosmetic surgery rumours, particularly her alleged penchant for the wrinkle reducing wonder drug Botox.
Now once again in the spotlight, preening for the public and paparazzi at the premiere of Baz Luhrmann's epic Australia, leading cosmetic surgeon and Botox extraordinaire, Dr Mary Dingley confirms the rumours.
And our Nicole's liking for techniques that go well beyond old fashioned beauty sleep, haven't always had the desired effect.
Labelled frozen-faced, called a bat and described by Sharon Osbourne, the wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne as, controversially said "Nicole Kidman's forehead looks like a flat screen TV."
"Having Botox means that you are going to probably look better, like a china doll. So if you want to be put on the mantelpiece like a china doll then sure this is the way to go" says Dr Mark Williams.

Botox has blossomed into a $300 million a year industry fuelled by Australian women and men, chasing renewed confidence.
But new research published in the esteemed Discover Magazine attacks the long term effect Botox has, saying when it freezes facial expressions it freezes emotions.
"They're going to probably develop things like depression, social anxiety disorders things that are really going to affect their health in the long term" says Dr Mark Williams.
Humans and many animals rely intrinsically on facial expressions to understand each other and experience emotion.
"When you actually take away the ability to make a facial expression then you are not going to be able to portray that to others so others aren't going to be able to understand if you are sad or if you are happy" says Dr Williams.
Macquarie University cognitive neuroscientist Mark Williams says Botox users don't have the same highs and lows of emotions and can't recognise them in others.
According to the theory...it works like this. When a person smiles at us we smile back - it's automatic. We literally mimic them, even if it's only for a split second.
"There's a lot of evidence that what we do is mimic what the other person is doing and we get the same physiological response that they get, so we are yeah you are happy because I'm feeling happy or you are sad because I'm feeling sad" says Dr Williams.
The act of smiling or frowning or grimacing literally triggers a response in our brains you can see.
The theory was first pushed in 1872 by Charles Darwin who claimed facial expressions were a crucial means of survival allowing us to tell our enemies from our friends - even before we could speak.
In 2008 Dr Williams uses state of the art technology to scan the brain. He shows his subjects pictures of different facial expressions then reads their neurological reaction.
"There are seven basic emotions that we talk about and those are happiness, sadness, surprise, disgust, angry, fearful and neutral faces and they occur in any society from the highlands of Papua New Guinea all the way to Sydney Australia, New Zealand wherever" adds Dr Williams.
He says Botox will reduce emotion across the board.
"They won't be able to smile so therefore they wont get all those endorphins released so therefore they wont get that rush of enjoyment that we all get. Also from the point of view they are not going to get the interaction with others that they are looking for so others aren't going to understand how they are feeling."
Paralyse your expression...paralyse your relationships.
"No-one wants to talk to you because you are not showing the normal signals an individual shows when they are interacting and enjoying it."
"I've had three botox injections around my eye...I've had three in between my nose, I've had three on the other side and two on my chin." Sonya is an avid botox user. She says it has improved her relationships, not dulled them.
"Not at all... I mean botox has helped me. Really, its made me feel more confident. I don't think its hindered me at all, it's been a great thing for me."
Her doctor, also a regular botox patient, agrees.
Dr Mary Dingley from the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery says treatment can actually improve a person's wellbeing and help with depression, particularly in people who have deep frown lines.
"Look I think the reverse is true. it actually allows people to interact with people better so they are not going to be isolated," Dr Dingley said.
"So if you're walking around like a thundercloud all the time, people will think that you are very cranky even if you're not. So a lot people with botox can relax that frown and people find you more approachable," says Dr Dingley.
And the smile remains untouched.
"Certainly we are not doing anything with the smile muscles, you can still smile perfectly naturally. And you can still show surprise, you can still show affection, all of those sorts of things," adds Dr Dingley.

The dangers of baby oil

It smells nice and it's soothing for baby. But who would think such an old-time product, a nursery staple, could injure and kill?

Baby oil, along with other common household oils for massage, hair, and bath, essential oils, eucalyptus and camphor oils, are responsible for at least 3000 reported ingestion accidents to young children every year in Australia.

Toxicologist Dr Naren Gunja from NSW Poisons Information Centre at Westmead Hospital says most parents don't realise the danger.
"Once the child has ingested it depending on how much they ingest then it could be too late. Over a period of time, the child can die," says Dr Gunja.
"It is a gradual process that can take several days, two weeks to die."

Mums Gabby and Soraya say the drama started when their kids, Natalia, 4, and Gabriel, 3, were playing together. They discovered the two splashing baby oil over them and they'd drunk some.
Soon, both kids were having difficulty breathing. Natalia was also vomiting, Daniel had a rash. An ambulance rushed them to hospital - the doctors' warnings were grim.
"He listened to his lungs for quite a while and he said 'he looks ok' and - this was just horrible - he said 'look, there's nothing we can do, this is something that if your child has done this, and it's in his lungs there is nothing that we can do'," says Soraya.
When Gabby and Soraya checked the internet for accidents and side-effects they discovered the horrors - in the US, 20 kids a year die from breathing in household oils, 5 deaths are from baby oil. In total, around 80,000 household oil ingestion accidents are reported to the US Poisons Centre yearly.
"The death the child goes through is absolutely horrific, the latest boy to die in America was Jayden Bryson, 18 months old, it took him 28 days to die, he suffocated to death," explains Soraya.

Why so toxic? Look at the ingredients and you see baby oil, sunscreen oil, bath, body and massage oils, make-up removers, nail enamel dryers, eucalyptus, camphor and clove oils - are all made from mineral oil, a petroleum ingredient from crude oil.
Mineral oils contain hydrocarbons, a real danger to the stomach and especially the lungs - which can stop working.
"A mouthful of baby oil ingested by a child is enough to cause it to vomit and if they breathe that into their lungs that is enough to cause lung inflammation ... if enough of that happens it could lead to death," says Dr Gunja.
Mineral oils are also used for cleaning, as industrial and mechanical lubricants, in cosmetics and even pesticides. And, apart from they've been blamed for a range of health problems - allegedly acne, premature ageing of skin, and other skin disorders, impeding normal cell development and possibly causing vitamin deficiency.

Luckily, Gabriel and Natalia survived their ordeal. Seven years ago the US Consumer Product Safety Commission made child-resistant packaging mandatory for oily liquids containing hydrocarbons - like baby oils, bath, body, hair and massage oils, and sunscreens. So, Johnson and Johnson Baby Oil sold in America has the compulsory child-proof lid. Why not in Australia?
As a result of Today Tonight's investigation Johnson & Johnson has informed us that they will after 48 years change to child resistant caps on all its baby oil products in Australia and worldwide.

Secrets of the skin diet

We know a healthy diet can change the appearance of our waistline but diet can also change the appearance of our skin, proving we really are what we eat.
According to a new study the different foods can actually act like medicine - treating specific skin conditions, even reversing the signs of ageing.
The average Australian woman puts between $100 and $400 worth of beauty products on her face every day but these are tough economic times - so before you raid the cosmetic counter you should know the secret to a glowing complexion is actually as close as the fruit and veg aisle at your supermarket.

"I think it's an absolute waste of money spending a fortune on really expensive moisturiser," says Karen Fischer.
According to nutritionist and author Karen Fischer, the secret to a healthy complexion is less about what we put on our skin and more about we put on our plate.

Starting with Acne.
"Say someone with acne they quickly take out the saturated fat in their diet - have less red meat have more leafy green vegetables more of the things that are wonderful for the blood stream that can quickly make a difference," says Karen.
Karen's effective acne cure is as simple as eating greens, lemons, limes and avocado - three or four times a week. Cutting out milk has also proven successful with patients.

Actress Holly Brisley is allergic to wheat and gluten she followed the great skin diet for a more even complexion.
"I've had a lot of friends who have had psoriasis and it seems to of helped with their skin they're not as red," says Holly.

Common skin problem number 2: Eczema and other forms of dermatitis.

"You want the anti inflammatory foods, you want the fish, turmeric and other spices, and the red onion which has the most anti-inflammatory product."
We may try to avoid them on a first date but red onions are the secret to good skin and reducing redness and inflammation.

Now - the most common skin problem of all - wrinkles.
"Well these foods, tomatoes, berries even berry jam and water melon offer flavanoids that offer sun protection, they offer anti wrinkle protection for you."
It seems to good to be true but Karen believes you can reduce fine lines with berries, watermelon and sugar free jam. All contain anti-oxidants for healthy cells on the inside that will show on the outside.
Dermatologist Natasha Cook believes there needs to be more evidence on the anti ageing qualities of particular foods but agrees we could all benefit from more fish.
"There has been a lot of suggestions about eating fish particularly those that are high in omega 3 fatty acids may provide some benefit overall to your skin but lets face it these foods that are good for you entire body."
Both Karen and Natasha support cutting out white breads and processed foods.
"There has been some evidence that being on a low GI diet can be good for skin conditions the main one being acne," says Natasha.

Now for some myth busting - like all chocolate causes acne.
"Certainly there is no significant evidence and the long term studies that they've done looking at chocolate and sweets - it doesn't make any difference whatsoever," says Natasha.
In fact dark chocolate can even be good for you - more good news. The rumours are true - red wine is also beneficial but keep it to a glass and a half.
"Certainly red wine does contain anti oxidants that may have some benefits to the skin one what we must understand is it's all about balance having small amount 1 or 2 glasses per night but excessive amounts can damage the skin," says Natasha.
"Your skin is the first sign that something is wrong with your health," says Karen.
Good skin is about being healthy on the inside - but there is one external factor that can ruin all your good work - if you want good skin there's no such thing as fun in the sun.
"The best thing you can do is wear sunscreen," advises Natasha.

Stroke warning sighs

If you felt the side of your face go numb or were unable to move your arm - would you know what to do?
According to the National Stroke Foundation you could be experiencing the signs of stroke.
Stroke is Australia's second biggest killer and a leading cause of disability. A stroke occurs in Australia every 10 minutes.

FAST is an easy way to recognise the signs of stroke.
FAST stands for Facial weakness, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to act. Call 000 immediately if you experience even one of the signs of stroke or recognise them in someone else.
In the 2007 National Stroke Foundation survey asked Australians aged over 40 what they know about stroke. Fifteen per cent said they did not know any of the signs of stroke.
This represents at least 1.3 million Australians aged between 40 and 90 may not recognise the signs of stroke in themselves or a loved one.

As part of National Stroke Week (15-21 September), the National Stroke Foundation aims to distribute 1.3 million FAST wallet cards. The wallet cards allow people to carry the FAST message with them at all times.
"There is a simple test for stroke that everybody should know - it's called the FAST test," said Dr Erin Lalor, Chief Executive Officer of the National Stroke Foundation.

The FAST test involves asking three simple questions:
Face - Can the person smile, has their mouth drooped?
Arms - Can the person raise both arms?
Speech - Can the person speak clearly and understand what you say?
Time - Act FAST and call 000 immediately.
If the person has difficulties with any of these, act FAST and call 000. Getting urgent medical attention could mean the difference between death or severe disability and a good recovery from stroke.

National Stroke Week is 15-21 September.
For more information about the National Stroke Foundation, FAST and preventing stroke visit http://www.strokefoundation.com.au/ or call StrokeLine 1800 787 653.

Fwd: Broccoli - the anti cancer veg that could do your heart good

If there's a poster veggie for healthy eating, it has to be broccoli - in fact you could paper the walls with good news stories spruiking it's health benefits. There's the one that says broccoli puts the brakes on prostate cancer in mice, and another that names broccoli as a source of glucosinolates - a compound that can help protect the brain from Alzheimer's.

Broccoli's latest triumph is a new report from the University of Warwick in the UK, suggesting that another compound in broccoli called sulphoraphane helps reverse the harm that high blood sugar levels can do to the blood vessels of people with diabetes. Sulphoraphane seems to work in two ways - one is by boosting the production of enzymes that protect the blood vessels, and the other is by reducing the levels of molecules which damage the cells of blood vessels.
Sulphoraphane is the same compound that's been found to reduce bladder cancer in rats and, in other lab studies, to help protect against cancer of the colon and pancreas, according to the American Cancer Society.

Fwd: Spicing up meat for a safer barbecue

If spring is here, outdoor eating isn't far behind - so if you're buying for a barbecue put some rosemary and mint on the shopping list too.
New research published in the latest issue of The Journal of Food Science has found that marinating meat in spice blends containing the antioxidants rosmarinic acid (found in mint) and carnasol and carnosic acid (both found in rosemary) reduced the formation of potentially harmful chemicals by up to 80 per cent. The chemicals are HCAs, short for heterocyclic amines, which are suspect carcinogens created when muscle foods - from meat, poultry or fish - are cooked at high temperatures.Barbecueing seems to produce the most HCAs, followed by pan-frying and grilling. 'Suspect' means there's evidence from animal studies that HCAs are carcinogenic and have been linked to cancer of the colon, but the evidence in human studies isn't clear, according to the Cancer Council NSW.

The idea that pre-barbecue marinating can reduce HCAs isn't new - but what's reassuring is that this new study is building the evidence that how we cook and prepare meat might reduce any risks of HCA - and do so in a way that makes the food more enjoyable, not less. An earlier study from Lawrence Livermore University in the US found that marinating chicken in a mix of olive oil, cider vinegar, garlic, mustard, lemon juice and salt reduced HCAs too, while research from the University of Hawaii gave the thumbs up to two marinades - one with teriyaki sauce and another with turmeric and garlic.

Eating Fruits

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

* IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS!

* FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.
If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.
In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.
So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals!
You have heard people complaining - every time I eat water-melon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat banana I feel like running to the toilet etc - actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

Greying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will not happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.
There is no such thing as some fruits like orange and lemon are acidic because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did a research on this matter (specifically lemon according to Edgar Cayce the socalled Sleeping Prophet).

If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.
When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT From the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins. But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice.
If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.
You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

Drinking Cold water after meal = Cancer! Can u believe this??
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A toast to your health!

Tips for living to 100

(Louise Hall and Sarah Price)
The faded pages in an innocuous-looking little brown book claim that the secret to living a long healthy life lies in a mix of traditional herbal remedies and fresh air.
Forgotten for almost a century before it was rediscovered in an English attic, the fascinating but sometimes bizarre wisdom of an earlier generation who relied on natural therapies for their well-being is now available on http://www.howtolive100years.com.
And if its previous owner, a woman who beat breast cancer and lived to 103 is any indication, the commonsense approach to treating everything from earache to eczema in How To Live 100 Years may indeed help us live longer.

British nutritional therapist Elizabeth Harfleet found the pocket-sized book among the personal belongings of her late great-aunt Lillie Hogg.
Lillie Hogg swore by the 90-page manual of herbal remedies and treatments compiled by Yorkshire herbalist James Robinson that sold early last century for a shilling.
"As I began to thumb through the yellowed pages I quickly realised I was holding a piece of history and it was all the more remarkable because my great-aunt Lillie had obviously proved that living by this book had worked," Ms Harfleet, 46, said.
Lillie Hogg was born in 1870 and never married, travelled or drank alcohol and outlived all her siblings by enjoying a simple life in Yorkshire. In middle age she overcame breast cancer when knowledge and treatment of the disease was in its infancy.
She followed the advice, such as pepper for earache, plantain leaves for toothache and horseradish mixed with gin for premenstrual tension and passed the remedies down to Ms Harfleet's father. "When I had mumps, he put boiled onions on my neck," Ms Harfleet said.
While Lillie was living proof of the health benefits of herbal medicine, there are growing numbers of "super-centenarians" aged 110 or older, and more "semi-super-centenarians", aged 105 to 109, in Australia.

Census figures show declining fertility rates and improved survival rates of older people mean centenarians have become the fastest-growing age group in the nation.
Over the past 25 years, centenarian numbers have grown by 8.5 per cent a year. At last count, 3154 Australians were aged 100 or older - one-third of them from NSW, but this figure is forecast to grow to 12,000 by 2020 and 50,000 by 2050, a study published last month in the Medical Journal Of Australia shows.

At 101, Lyster Holland is too busy to give up living. "I haven't had time to die yet," Mr Holland said from his home in Young, in the state's Central West. "I've always been busy."
Mr Holland is a father of six, including a daughter whom he and his wife Myrtle, who died 18 months ago, adopted as a baby after her mother was badly injured in a car accident. He has 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchlidren.
Mr Holland has never smoked and rarely drinks alcohol.
"I've had a good life, had a lot of experiences," he said. "My ambition was to make people happy, and that's what I did."

How not to look old

If you're female and more than 40 (and haven't had work), chances are you've felt invisible. Young men have looked straight past you like nobody was there; teenage shop assistants have addressed you as "Madam"; and seemingly the only attention on offer (albeit, unwelcome) has come from vastly older men with back hair.
Veteran American beauty magazine editor Charla Krupp has declared war on ageing. Of the opinion that "ageing sucks" she refuses to wear a muu-muu or stockings with reinforced toes. Instead, her wardrobe is dictated by vanity, but also, she says, driven by personal and financial survival - that as women work longer, they need to look young to keep their jobs.
Krupp's 216-page boomer manifesto against ageing, How Not To Look Old, aims to make women look 10 years younger. It's not about extreme makeovers as she says plastic surgery doesn't guarantee youthful looks.Rather, her advice entails wide-ranging adjustments to skin, hair and wardrobe so that the more-than-40 woman can look young without looking ridiculous.
To begin, Krupp establishes whether you are high, medium or low maintenance, so you can follow her corresponding chapter tips. She then scrutinises hair, warning that nothing ages like a too-short fringe, long hair parted down the middle, helmet head, high hair, an updo and visibly thinning hair.
As we age, she advises, our hairstyles should evolve; the best overall option is a fringe. Thinning hair is also discussed and forbidden accessories include a high ponytail, thick, structured hair bands, ribbons and scrunchies. A before-and-after photograph of Teri Hatcher seals the case for long, sleek, sexy hair.
Too-dark hair, a solid block of colour, dull, grey roots and ashy blonde streaks are deemed old lady (OL), while highlights around the face are younger and hipper (Y&H). She also recommends steps to going grey and how to find a good colourist.
Shifting down the face, bushy, unkempt, shapeless, tweezed too-thin eyebrows, drawn-on and grey or brown hairs are banned. Tweezer etiquette is outlined, as well as a course of action such as extensions, prosthetics and tattooing for those who have lost brows due to illness.
While you might think eyewear is a straightforward business, apparently three pairs of glasses are in order: a stylish, professional pair for the office, a wilder pair for the weekend and a glamour pair for stylish occasions, resplendent with jewels, crystals or pearls. Krupp also matches frames to hair colour and suggests redundant glasses be donated to the Lions Club.
When it comes to cosmetics, off limits are heavy eyeliner, dark lip pencil and a single row of false eyelashes. Primer is recommended under light foundation, light diffusing powder a winner, and pink lipstick the only shade worth wearing.
But it's when writing about wrinkles that Krupp wields the big guns. A fan of injectables, she advocates "refreshing" treatments from a dermatologist such as microdermabrasion and fillers such as Botox.
If you can afford it, she says cosmetic dentistry is crucial for teeth-whitening but also discusses lower maintenance options such as whitening strips. The bad news is that a 2006 US survey tested 41 whitening toothpastes and found no evidence of lightening the base colour of teeth.
She says fake nails are OL, with "squivol", the-not-quite-square-not-quite-oval, shape deemed chic.
If age spots and veiny hands are a problem, book a laser treatment with a dermatologist.
Krupp's clothing chapters are fascinating. Wardrobe essentials such as a fitted trench coat in a "wow" or coloured fabric are listed, while accessories such as multiple ear piercings and Crocs are forbidden.
The optimum skirt length is determined, ideal jeans are explained, shoes and accessories dissected, but the gong for ingenuity goes to shapewear.
In Krupp's view, stretchy compression garments that rein in back fat, buddha bellies and saddlebags are the Holy Grail of underwear (even Gwyneth Paltrow has worn them). Her Brilliant Buys listings at the end of each chapter provide great pointers. As most products translate to Australian stores, they prevent wasted money on items that are pricey and don't work.
Based on testing of 1000-plus products, she concludes: "Some of the best cleansers, moisturisers, mascaras, foundations and shampoos can be found at Target."
Much more than obvious and hackneyed beauty suggestions, Krupp's details, tweaks and recommended treatments are innovative and constructive, while at the same time catering for all budgets and levels of commitment.
This is an essential guide for boomers who seek visibility - where else could you learn that a spritz of pink grapefruit will make you appear six years younger to men? Krupp's advice is gold.
